I stayed in Shanghai for 8 days to attend the 2014 International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability last June 4-12, 2014 at the Siping Campus of Tongji University. This was my first solo international trip (and the longest, to date), but the conference was a great way to meet new friends and enjoy Shanghai with people from different cultures. Like any other city at night, Shanghai blooms like a flower in Spring, and The Bund is a really nice place to visit. The Urban Planning Museum is also a must-see, and I have to admit – my love for museums stemmed from my trip there.

Being in a very culturally rich city is a learning experience in itself. There are a lot of experiences waiting to be soaked up, and so many interesting facts to learn.
